Biodegradable Straws From Plants
Initiatives to Reduce Plastic

Plastics will take 100-200 years to decompose to natural. A lot of plastics go into the ocean every day from improper disposal, therefore causing pollution.
The impact on marine life is a very serious situation. It is reported that by 2050 the combined weight of plastic will weigh more than the weight of marine fish. In fact, more than 100 million marine animals have died due to plastic waste. In addition, microplastics have also been found in the bodies of humans who eat marine organisms that contain microplastics in their bodies.
Against this backdrop, proper management of plastics, including de-plasticization, has become a global issue. The public and private sectors are working together to develop alternatives such as paper straws and biodegradable straws.
